ABOUT THE LOCATION

THREAD Studios is one block from the L train and only a 15 minute drive from Manhattan.

The Jefferson stop location is known for "Artist's Open Studio" walks in Summer. During this yearly event, THREAD welcomes the public to come in and look around. Just across the street is a great hardware store, a customized stretcher frame-maker, and Soho Art Materials, which is the perfect store for creative professionals. There is plenty of off-street parking and a secure place for bicycles.

East Williamsburg is becoming a creative hang-out for pioneering artists and new businesses in Brooklyn. The community is growing and surrounding THREAD Studios there are a lot of new stores, bars, coffeehouses and restaurants in the area. Popular to the crowd is Northeast Kingdom Restaurant & Bar, and the coffee shop, Wyckoff Star, which are both located within 2 mins walk from THREAD.
